    Lauren Thirstrup is a recent graduate in mass communication with a concentration in public relations at Louisiana State University.  Along with her major, she is minored in sports studies. Thirstrup is a go-getter and believes everyone has a seat at the table deserving to be heard and seen.

​

    Thirstrup previously worked for the nonprofit, Sports for Champions by Under Armour. She accepted an internship with another corporation, Vitacup. She was tasked with preparing and constructing social media content. Thirstrup is confident in her abilities and ready to succeed.Since Thirstrup has attained a professional career, she has extensive knowledge in efficiency. She is well-versed in social media writing and has confidence while public speaking.

     In addition to her studies, Thirstrup enjoys being an active member of the Miss Universe Organization. On campus, she was involved with Disability Advocacy Council and Geaux Vote. She started her own self-defense nonprofit, OYPW. Thirstrup is extremely outgoing, relatable and capable of working well with everyone. On her spare time, she enjoys boating with her family.
